Call of the Wild Win More Awards
Call of the Wild Ltd win the Best Use of Technology Award
Award winning Call of the Wild who are current National Team Building Company of the Year and Welsh Small Business of the Year picked up 2 more awards last week. In a celebration of what is best in Wales at the Swansea Bay Tourism Awards Call of the Wild won the "Best Use of Technology” award. This award was to highlight those who have successfully integrated ITC within their business development or who have shown to be further developed than other businesses within their sector.
The judges acknowledged that our online training and development academy was particularly innovative and ground breaking for the business tourism market. This combined with our significant investment in Customer Relationship Management Systems and e-marketing contributed to us winning this prestigious award. This was pleasing given we were shortlisted with the National Waterfront Museum For Wales who have invested many millions in their ITC processes. Not only was this a wonderful achievement but we were also commended in the “Co-Operating to Compete” category. This was awarded to the business that has consistently demonstrated a willingness to engage with a wide range of partners and initiatives for the greater benefit of the wider regional and Welsh economy.
Managing Director, Geraint Lewis said “We are absolutely delighted to win these awards. This is further recognition that our innovative and creative use of technology is recognised as being the best in our sector. This is not just for business generation through e-marketing but also customer service through CRM systems. It demonstrates that our work with outdoor activities, corporate events and team development and leadership courses continues to be recognised as the best in the country.
Although we were delighted to win the National Team Building Company of the Year Award 2008 and the Welsh Small Business of the Year Award 2008 these latest awards are pleasing as it illustrates recognition on the part of our peers. ” explained Geraint Lewis, Managing Director.
