Golf
What is Golf?
I would be amazed if there is anyone out there who doesn’t know what golf is. Wikipedia describes Golf as a sport in which individual players or teams hit a ball into a hole using various clubs and also is one of the few ball games that does not use a fixed standard playing area. It is defined in the Rules of Golf as "playing a ball with a club from the teeing ground into the hole by a stroke or successive strokes in accordance with the Rules."
Who Can Play Golf ?
Golf is an activity suitable for adult groups. This is not a beginners course and a degree of competency is required. A handicap is required.
Where Can I Play Golf?
Call of the Wild’s golf sessions take place in the wonderful Brecon Beacons National Park, Wales. We use a local course on the southern edge of the Park near Ystradfellte with some spectacular views over the surrounding countryside.
Duration/Length of the Golfing session?
This is variable depending on the size, nature of the group, nature and the prevailing weather conditions on the day.
When can I do it?
You can book our golf sessions in Wales all year. However it is sometimes more difficult to guarantee tee times during the Summer when the course is at its busiest. Book early!
What is it going to cost me?
Phone for details or contact us. This will vary on depending on the nature of the booking .
What will I have to Wear ?
Even though this is not a stuffy or formal club the normal golf club dress code applies. No jeans, only dress shorts and golf shoes must be worn
