Challenge Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) is an epic experience awaiting those up for the challenge. With your colleagues have the adventure of a lifetime trying the legendary must do big four adventure activities of the stunning Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons)! Try canoeing on the River Wye, climb Pen y Fan, negotiate the wild River Mellte white water rafting but without the raft otherwise known as canyoning and finish  off by going below caving where few people have gone before!

This is your chance to try all the outstanding adventures in one condensed 3 day period! Canyoning, caving, summiting the famous Pen Y fan (highest mountain in southern Britain) and canoeing down the majestic River Wye. The highest peak in Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park and highest in Britain south of Snowdonia, Pen y Fan rises to a height of 886m or 2906 feet above sea level. You’ll also have the opportunity of walking to the summit of its neighbouring peaks Corn Du (873m), Cribyn (795m) and Fan y Big (719m). With our experienced and friendly instructors you’ll try the BIG 4 adventures in one go.

Is It For You and The Team

You don’t have to be superhuman to try this weekend as it’s no triathlon! You just need to have a reasonable level of physical fitness as it will be challenging. A great idea for a team building event or just a fun company trip away from the office.

Sample Itinerary

Day 1

Travel to Hay and arrive at the River Wye for the 5.5 mile canoe trip starting from the highest navigable point on the Wye, paddling in a northeasterly direction for a 3 to 4-hour trip. In this section, you will encounter migratory sand martins nesting in the clay riverbanks between March and October.

Day 2

Today we’ll take on the mighty Pen y Fan, Corn Du, and Cribyn. This will take us between 4 to 6 hours depending on the ability of the group and the prevailing weather conditions. We transport you to and from the hotel.

Day 3

Another full on adventure taking part in our legendary canyoning activity followed by a trip to explore underground beneath Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) caving. We transport you to and from your hotel.

Depart late afternoon following the caving trip.
