What is a White Water rafting ?
White water rafting is a high adrenaline river based activity using an inflatable raft to navigate a fast flowing river. There are different degrees of white water in order to excite the participants.
What Will I Be Doing During the Ringo Ride?
Hanging on for dear life, screaming, crying, swearing, laughing take your pick. This is a great adrenaline rush – a real adrenaline junkies dream being thrown about in the raft whilst trying to navigate the raft with your paddle past obstacles in the river such as boulders and stoppers.

Where Can I Try the White Water rafting Rides ?
Call of the Wild’s sessions take place either on the River Wye or in Bala North Wales
Duration of the Day?
Usually for a few hours but depends on the size of the group, ages and weather conditions.
When can I do it?
We operate our sessions in Wales all year although the weather becomes more unpredictable into the Winter. Also in the Summer the Wye is too low for white rafting.

What will I have to Wear for my White Water Rafting?
A full kit list will be issued upon booking however we will supply you with a helmet, wet suit and buoyancy aid.
Good Combination of Activities
White water rafting can be combined with other activities for weekends or longer duration visits. It can be combined with any of the range of activities available whether it be canyoning, gorge walking, climbing, quad biking, paintball and clays. See also our adventure days where in a single day you can sample climbing and another activity such as gorge walking and/or caving. However please note that the availability of activities will depend on the venue for the rafting.
Can I Use a Camera?
Yes you can before and after but not during the activity.
