Amy Hunt – Institute of Leadership and Management Level 5 Higher Apprenticeship in Management

How did you first learn about the apprenticeship opportunity, and what motivated you to pursue it?

I originally started the apprenticeship in my previous company. This is my 3rd QCF. I am motivated to do this because I want to expand my knowledge, and further my career. I feel that by completing the QCF’S I will be able to do this.

Can you describe the skills or knowledge you hoped to gain through this apprenticeship?

I hoped to gain an insight into management theories and practice and to apply these within my role.

How has the apprenticeship programme aligned with your career goals and aspirations?

I feel that my QCF has helped me to have a greater understanding of my role and the organisation I work within. After the apprenticeship I plan to look for higher management roles.

Have there been any unexpected benefits or opportunities that have arisen from your apprenticeship experience?

I have gained numerous skills and knowledge throughout the qualification.

What advice do you have for others considering or currently pursuing an apprenticeship in your field?

Go for it! It’s a really good qualification to complete. The course is interesting and helps you expand your knowledge. You will be well supported throughout.

How have you found working with Call of the Wild?

I have found working with call of the wild a very positive experience. Karoline has always been supportive and helpful throughout.

Is there anything else you would like to say about your apprenticeship experience so far?

Completing this course has helped me grow in confidence. Karoline has always been so supportive and helpful. She is an asset to Call of the Wild, and I couldn’t have done it without her ongoing support. Thank you!
