ILM Level 3The ILM Level 3 Award in Leadership aims to develop an understanding of leadership skills.

The ILM Level 3 Certificate in Leadership aims to develop both understanding and application of leadership skills using action learning.

ILM Membership

All registered candidates automatically become studying members of the ILM for one year, free of charge, and can enjoy a range of member benefits accessible through the ILM website. Successful completion of a Level 3 qualification provides eligibility for Associate Membership (AM InstLM) of the Institute of Leadership & Management

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements, but participants will normally be practising or aspiring first line managers with the opportunities to meet the assessment demands. Also they must have a background that will enable them to benefit from the programme .

  • Introduction to leadership
  • Leading a team effectively

The certificate mandatory units are as above plus:-

  • Developing own leadership capability using action learning
