Discussion About Impact of Coronavirus on Small Business
Questions were asked about the impact on our business, particularly given our approach of using the outdoor environment as a green classroom. It was also pertinent given the previous weekend’s experience with people ignoring Government advice about social distancing. The usual honeypot sites such as Snowdon and Pen Y fan for instance experienced unprecedented visitor numbers. People were behaving like this was a normal Bank Holiday.

Geraint explained that people had to be sensible and use common sense when choosing where to visit so they could still comply with Government advice. He also outlined the enormous impact the situation created by the Coronavirus has had on business and if Government assistance doesn’t come soon, in weeks rather than months, it will be catastrophic for many.
