Call of the Wild’s Managing Director, Geraint Lewis, this morning took part in the BBC Radio 5 Live radio show ‘Wake Up To Money’ hosted by Sean Farrington.

Discussion About Impact of Coronavirus on Small Business

Questions were asked about the impact on our business, particularly given our approach of using the outdoor environment as a green classroom. It was also pertinent given the previous weekend’s experience with people ignoring Government advice about social distancing. The usual honeypot sites such as Snowdon and Pen Y fan for instance experienced unprecedented visitor numbers. People were behaving like this was a normal Bank Holiday.

He also outlined the enormous impact the situation created by the Coronavirus has had on business and if Government assistance doesn’t come soon, in weeks rather than months,  it will be catastrophic for many.
