John Neal is a psycho-physiologist specialising in exercise physiology and sports psychology working throughout the UK, Europe, US and Australia. John is a faculty member at Ashridge Management College where he presents upon motivation, corporate wellness, coaching, lifestyle planning, team development, and personal performance. John’s background in these areas makes him an ideal facilitator for our team development, leadership and management development programmes.
John is also a consultant at Henley Management College and London Business School. He currently operates seven corporate fitness facilities, including Lord’s Cricket Ground and Ashridge. These are innovative facilities where the design of the facility and the unique DYNAMIC7S Personal Fitness System combine to create a motivational training environment for the mind, body and spirit.
John was Fitness Director to Middlesex CCC for nine years, Director of The Middlesex Academy and advisor to the England & West Indies Cricket Boards the M.C.C, I.C.C and H.M.C. John is currently psycho-physiologist at MCC, Lord’s and is coaching the coach’s at Somerset CCC. John works with a number of organisations and companies in the public and private arena on a consultancy basis in the areas of personal and team performance through the medium of Experiential Coaching.
Experiential Coaching
Experiential Coaching was designed by John and two colleagues at Ashridge to actively promote the art of development coaching and the parallels between sports coaching and business coaching – combining the passion of sport and the theory of business. John has written for the BBC and is the author of two books in the field of personal performance. He is a regular media contributor upon the topics of motivation, coaching and personal performance.
Due to John’s reputation and experience he was appointed performance coach to the Welsh Rugby Union Squad in their preparation for the 2007 Rugby World Cup.
