Evaluation of Success
We are clearly sighted on the need to identify what success looks like and those outcomes will need to integrated into the evaluation. We are keen to discuss and develop these further with the leadership team and to understand what these could look like.
Post-programme interventions are planned (knowledge skill and behaviour reinforcement; and return on investment). In addition to the end of programme reviews by the attendees (programme satisfaction surveys); we will focus more resource, time and effort on the return on investment and transfer of learning back into the workplace. We need to ensure the learning is retained, transferred to the workplace, used and used effectively and this can only be done over a longer period of time which is why we will follow-up with these actions. This work then helps us to evaluate the impact of the programme.
We feel this makes us unique in terms of what we can offer. We are including a follow-up 3 hour online session for each category you’ve identified. There will be an agreed interval between each of these being triggered to ensure the staff are reminded of what they learnt and ensuring they are using this and using it effectively. With the webinars we can explore any problems they’ve encountered.
Furthermore we will:-
• Create a development plan with each manager through the psychometric tools;
• Return a self-recorded video pledge to from each group focussing on behavioural changes to nudge them towards their future manager behaviours (4 weeks after the programme completion);
• Complete and return to each manager a ‘Memo2Self’ outlining 3-4 key commitments to enact in the workplace (returned 8 weeks after the programme completion);
• Conduct an online survey of attendees 13 weeks after completion and an online survey of their managers – to assess impact in the workplace;
• A webinar;
• Annual Close Out / Final Report.
Impact
Following the post-programme intervention we then collate the results and prepare an impact report. This is an example of the type of results we obtain.
