Call of the Wild are delighted to have been personally invited by the Head of HR at Vine HR to deliver a lecture and chair a workshop at the Vine HR event to be held on 7th May 2014 in Colchester. VineHR are a not-for-profit company formed by the Heads of HR from all 15 local authorities in Essex. Their aim is to raise performance and achieve consistency in people management strategy across the county.
Innovation To Inspire
The theme for the day is “Innovation to Inspire Staff”. Our presentation Developing our Leaders – challenging the norms associated with the usual learning circumstances. We will take delegates to a unique place to inspire innovation. The keynote address will be delivered by Jo Gambi. Jo entered the Guinness World Records for the fastest female ascent of the Seven Summits. She is also the second British woman to ever climb Everest’s North Ridge. In 2005 Jo Gambi and her husband Rob, became the first couple to climb the ‘Seven Summits’ in record time and ski to the North and South Poles.
Our workshop is entitled Learning Together and Learning at Speed. We will provide innovative opportunities relating to confidence building, knowledge creation and problem solving; creating a power point free zone to challenge attitudes but teach and practice new and readily applicable leadership and team development approaches to learning.
