Background

Objectives

The long term objective was to look for a repeatable delivery programmes to integrate into their annual Unite Women in Engineering Retreat.

Through our experiential learning and the ingredients provided by the  great outdoors, the objective of the 3 days was to help these women develop and build their relationships, unite and empower the women with a view to strengthening  bonds.

The importance of this objective was heightened due to the group working in traditionally male dominated roles male dominated roles and are dispersed across different sites in the UK.

Desired outcomes from this team building event were to  have fun, lower barriers and create a space where they can bond.

Itinerary

The venue was our centre based in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park. This provided the wild, isolated location required by the group. It helps that it is also a  stunning location. We designed a 3 day residential event involving team development tasks and challenges. This culminated in the group taking part in a gorge walking activity.

Testimonial

“Call of the Wild provided the whole experience and from the start I built up an amazing relationship with the organiser Fran. We had thorough meetings discussed our aims and goals and I am so proud of my team for what they achieved. It’s been an experience I don’t think I’ll ever be able to put into words and we are excited for the next one.”
B. Braithwaite – Amazon Organiser.
