Health and Safety Half-Day Training
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) helps you create a structured career path, as well as safeguarding your professional status. As Health and Safety Representatives of the Housing Associations of Wales it is vital that you remain current and competent in your role. As the lead point of contact for all Health and Safety matters within your Company we have developed this unique day for you.
This half day CPD training is designed purely for H&S Managers/Representatives of Housing Associations only. With the aim of focusing on the Organisation in particular, this morning session will leave you with the updated knowledge, skills and support to fulfil your role in the H&S Sector.
Topics that will be covered are:
- Update and changes to legislation and regulations for Housing Associations
- Key areas of concerns for Housing Associations in Wales
- Support Networks and Sign Posting Advice
- Current positive and negative trends happening in Housing Associations across Wales
- Sharing good practice
Included in these sessions will be a guest speaker who will share their experience with you along with current activities that are having a positive and measurable impact on the Organisation.
Venue and Timings
The session will be delivered on the 15th Feb 2019 from 09:00-13:00 with lunch, tea and coffee provided. It will be held at the Aberdulais National Trust, Aberdulais Main Rd, Neath, SA10 8EU.
About the Trainer
It is delivered by our Health and Safety training expert Alex Jones, who is a certified NEBOSH examiner, has an HNC in Public Liability and Absence Reduction., HND Applied H&S Level 6 and currently doing a Master in MSE Health Safety Environmental Management.

To secure your space please contact us using the details below. The cost per person is £50 and on completion of attendance you will receive a Call of The Wild certificate which can go towards your annual CPD training. There is a maximum of 2 spaces per Housing Association.
