CALL OF THE WILD is now unveiling its new English Language Summer Study School!
Nestled in the beautiful surroundings of the Brecon Beacons National Park in Wales, CALL OF THE WILD invites international students from the age of 14 upwards to come and join them for a fun filled programme of English language Summer school experiences and adventure activities.
Our Accommodation
All our guests on our English language Summer school stay in our traditionally built farmhouse. The farm is located within 72 acres of unspoilt Brecon Beacon countryside, which is privately owned and managed by CALL OF THE WILD. Our location offers privacy and more importantly safety for the children who stay with us. However it is within easy travelling distance of the cities for excursions and shopping trips!
Obviously the building has been completely renovated, refurbished and updated to the latest modern standards. It comes equipped with bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and dining facilities, internet and inspiring classrooms that provide an amazing location in which to learn the English language.
Learning Mixed With Fun
CALL OF THE WILD’s Travel & Learn programme doesn’t just consider your child’s need for English tuition. We also place high importance on having fun, and the different ways the English language your child has learnt can be put into practical use outside the classroom. For this reason we have designed our programme to include half the day studying within the classroom environment, and half the day enjoying exciting activities such as climbing, canoeing, caving and much more, outside the classroom.
We believe that to teach the language properly there must always be a balance between the intake of information and the subsequent practical application of that information. This method ensures that what has been learnt within the classroom will be understood and correctly used in everyday life situations.
Everyone’s busy from dawn to dusk! We’ll arrange a full holiday programme with a daily timetable, and CALL OF THE WILD instructors keep the children informed of the plan for the day ahead. Every CALL OF THE WILD instructor is fully trained and has passed an enhanced CRB police check, the safety of your child/children is the most important part of their experience with us here at CALL OF THE WILD.
