Canyoning with Call of the Wild
Adventure canyoning in Wales is a combined water and rock activity. Canyoning in the Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park, Wales, 3 hours west of London, is up there as one of the best wet and wild experiences in the world according to leading travel publisher, Rough Guides.
They have described the canyoning experience in the Brecon Beacons as “..being up there with the best wet and wild experiences in the world!
The Rough Guides opinion was reinforced by David Manley.
“I recently returned from New Zealand where I went canyoning and the guides asked me why I had come to try canyoning when he could have done it with Call of the Wild. When back I booked a day canyoning with Call of the Wild. The scenery was every bit as good and the activity just as exciting (and wet!).”
The best way of describing our canyoning activity is white water rafting but without the raft. With our guides, you descend a stunning steep sided gorge by various ways and means. This can involve sliding down rapids, swimming down rapids, floating down fast flowing chutes and waves, walking behind some breathtaking waterfalls and of course jumping off those jaw dropping waterfalls.
What’s included:
